Immersible / cantilever pumps

Description immersible pump:
The vertical dry motor is mounted with its base plate on top of the cover of a pit or tank. The motor shaft is elongated and the pump hydraulic parts are submerged in the medium. The rotating hydraulic parts are supported by bearings outside the liquid zone above the base plate or in the drive unit. Generally the pump is equipped with a simple shaft seal because the potential leaked medium will flow back into the tank.

A cantilever pump does not have any bearings or shaft seal(s) in the medium, making it possible for the pump to run dry.

Pumping and circulation of liquid in systems where the pump is mounted on the tank or pit.
