Propeller- and Mixed flow pumps

Description mixed flow- and propeller pumps:

A rotating propeller in a (bended) tube creates an axial liquid acceleration.  A typical feature of this pump is the high capacity at low heads.

The mixed flow pump is a mix between the radial centrifugal pump (DIN24255/6) and the propeller pump. It's impeller shape creates a radial- as well as a axial liquid accelaration, thus overlapping the aplication field of the radial centrifugal pump and the propeller pump. The mixed flow pump is also called a semi-axial pump.

Applications :

When big pump capacity is required at relatively low head.
