Irrigation systems

Irrigation applications cover a broad range of scenarios. Depending on the water source and the required capacity and pressure, different pumps can be selected.

For projects within the Netherlands, this often involves groundwater or surface water, which is usually sprayed over the land using sprinkler guns. These can be powered by an electric motor, a tractor or even a separate diesel unit mounted on a trailer.

For international applications, the requirements are often more demanding. Larger agricultural plots or arid regions often require more water and, given the distances involved, frequently at higher pressure. This calls for different choices and selections. In certain cases, these pumps must even be self-priming and ‘stand-alone’, equipped with telemetry.
