JS Proputec A/S was founded in 1982 and is based in Hjørring, Denmark. The company has grown into a leading specialist in the manufacture of high-quality lamella pumps and related conveying solutions for the food industry. Every solution is designed and built to the specific requirements of the customer's production line. JS Proputec supplies production lines in more than 30 countries and, in addition to Denmark, has offices in Belgium, Brazil and the United States.
The JS lamella pump is the original and best-known product of JS Proputec. These pumps are recognised worldwide for their exceptional quality and durability, even in the toughest conditions. The pump is ideally suited for handling raw material such as animal by-products and industrial fish in the rendering industry. The pumps are also used in abattoirs, the fishmeal industry, filleting plants, the fishing industry, pet food and poultry processing. All wear parts are made of high-grade steel for maximum service life.
For applications with high hygiene requirements, all pumps are available in stainless steel, in accordance with Regulation EC 1935/2004. The Easy Clean version also features a hinged side cover, allowing one side of the pump to be opened for quick cleaning and inspection.
In addition to lamella pumps, JS Proputec supplies screw conveyors, infeed hoppers, unloading pumps, self-priming lamella pumps, knife gate valves and pipe cleaning systems.
