Liverani self-priming liquid ring pumps

Liverani produces a wide range of reversible self-priming liquid ring pumps in stainless steel 316 and bronze. These pumps are well suited to handling liquids combined with air or gas, including applications with a discontinuous supply of liquid. They are intended for clear liquids without solids in suspension and deliver a pulsation-free flow.

The range includes versions with pulley, magnetic clutch, hydraulic motor or frequency converter, in bronze or stainless steel 316, as well as a dedicated series for the marine sector. Explosion-proof versions are available with ATEX certification.

The impeller rotates with minimal clearance along a face in the pump casing that contains a side channel. This side channel runs over part of the circumference, is deepest in the middle and gradually becomes shallower towards the ends. Because of this shape, the space between the vanes alternately increases and decreases as the impeller rotates: liquid is drawn in on the suction side and forced out on the discharge side.
