Water treatment

Wastewater treatment plants contain demanding applications for pumps. The medium being pumped often contains solid particles, fibres, sludge and corrosive substances, placing high demands on the reliability, wear resistance and ease of maintenance of the pumps.

There is a wide choice of horizontally mounted dry-installed pumps, vertical cantilever or pit pumps with a dry motor, submersible pumps and even self-priming pumps that can be installed next to the pit or tank.

Thanks to the many years of experience of IB-Pompen and our suppliers in both industrial and municipal wastewater treatment, we can always offer the right pumping solution, whether it concerns a simple centrifugal pump for a small installation or a complex ATEX-certified submersible pump for a potentially explosive environment.

In addition to pumps, we also supply aerators and mixers that are essential for the biological treatment process. These provide optimal oxygen transfer and sludge homogenisation, resulting in a more efficient and stable treatment process.
