The Liverani flexible impeller pump is extremely versatile. This pumping principle ensures a gradual, smooth pumping action combined with excellent self-priming properties. It pumps both thin and thick liquids, even those containing suspended solids, is dry (!) self-priming and reversible in direction of rotation.

Working principle

An impeller with flexible rubber vanes rotates in a pump casing fitted with a cam. On the suction side the vanes clear the cam and spring back, increasing the space between two vanes and drawing liquid in. The liquid is carried between the vanes to the discharge side. There the cam bends the vanes, reducing the space between them and forcing the liquid out.
