Ossi-Mix series FP

 The OM system is based on an electric submersible pump equipped with a special hydraulic system: a DUPLEX stainless steel 3-channel centrifugal impeller operating in a special 12-outlet diffuser, and an AISI 304 stainless steel air supply system pressurised by an external blower. In the mixing chambers, the sludge comes into contact with the air. The air-sludge contact takes place in a highly turbulent annular conduit made of AISI 304 stainless steel.

The high hydraulic efficiency of the impeller allows large volumes of wastewater to be mixed with air using relatively little power. The pump flow is divided over twelve nozzles that deliver the sludge to be aerated into the same number of mixing chambers. The compact and solid construction, with a dry motor and an oil chamber positioned between the hydraulic part and the electric motor, stands on the bottom on its stainless steel tripod and can also be installed very easily when the tank is full.

The liquid-air ejector is an essential part of the Ossi-Mix and works on the Venturi effect: when a liquid flows through a pipe with a constriction, its velocity increases and its pressure drops. This principle allows a simple ejector without moving parts, in which a high-velocity liquid jet entrains and compresses a large volume of air. In the turbulent mixing zone, the air and sludge are then intensively mixed into fine bubbles.
