Submersible cutter pumps reduce solids in the medium so the hydraulics do not clog. That makes them the answer where a conventional submersible pump jams, for example on cloths, rope, wet wipes or packaging material in the waste water.

Depending on the application, these pumps are divided into the T, P and J series. The T series is the grinder for pressure sewerage systems and comparable domestic and commercial waste water, with a grinding group in stainless steel AISI 420 that also copes with paper and textile fibres. The P series is designed for manure from livestock housing and handles long, tough fibres such as straw. The J series combines an open multi-channel impeller with self-cleaning vanes and a cutting device, intended for unscreened waste water at high flow rates.

The T and J series are also available in stainless steel AISI 316, and the J series additionally in bronze B10 and duplex, so chemically laden waste water is no constraint. An ATEX version is available for the T and J series.
