Wear-resistant slurry pumps

Slurry pumps are specially designed for pumping abrasive and corrosive media containing solid particles. Whilst standard centrifugal pumps wear out quickly due to the presence of hard particles, slurry pumps are fitted with thick-walled, wear-resistant components made of rubber or metal alloys. The choice of pump depends heavily on the composition, concentration and particle size of the solids.
