MC series Düchting

Düchting’s MC series comprises horizontal single-stage centrifugal pumps in a back-pull-out design, specially developed for pumping abrasive and corrosive liquids. All parts that come into contact with the liquid are manufactured from SICcast, which means that, in many applications, their service life is considerably longer than that of conventional materials.

The closed impeller with three-dimensionally curved blades is secured by a key, allowing for reverse rotation — for example, for backflushing. The externally adjustable inclined gap between the impeller and the pump casing makes it possible to optimise efficiency and pressure build-up after prolonged use. The metal-free DÜTEC mechanical seal, with springs located outside the process medium, ensures a reliable seal without wear caused by the process medium.

The back-pull-out design allows the entire rotating assembly to be removed whilst the pump casing remains in place, thereby minimising downtime during maintenance.

Simple maintenance and inspection
The back-pull-out design makes it possible to dismantle the entire rotating assembly whilst the pump casing remains in place. The externally adjustable axial clearance between the impeller and the pump casing allows for readjustment without dismantling the pump.
