MillMAX-e series FK

The FLSmidth Krebs millMAX-e is a compact slurry pump, based on the proven millMAX design and optimised for increased wear resistance and higher efficiency.

The distinctive KREBS wear ring system closes the suction-side impeller clearance during operation, reducing recirculation and preventing the grinding of solids. This results in even and predictable wear of the wet end parts, lower power consumption and less unplanned downtime. The hydraulically optimised impeller design, developed using computational fluid dynamics (CFD), makes the millMAX-e the most efficient slurry pump in its class.

Features

  • Externally adjustable wear ring for optimum sealing during operation
  • High-efficiency impeller developed using CFD
  • Reverse-taper roller bearings for longer service life: grease is discharged outwards, preventing slurry ingress
  • KREBS belt tensioning system for quick maintenance
  • Compact, unlined design for optimal use of space and reduced weight
  • Available in a range of corrosion- and erosion-resistant alloys

Advantages

Why choose the MillMAX-e series FK

Low cost-per-tonne pumped

The KREBS millMAX-e maintains hydraulic performance close to the BEP throughout its entire service life, keeping energy consumption and maintenance requirements low. This results in low average lifetime costs per tonne pumped.
Extended service life of wear parts
Thanks to the easily adjustable clearance on the suction side, hydraulic performance is maintained throughout the pump’s service life. This significantly extends the service life of the wet parts.
Compact and lightweight
The unlined design makes the pump more compact and lighter than a comparable split-case slurry pump. This saves space, reduces capital cost and often allows a smaller motor to be used.
