The Franklin Electric FDX and FDP series are submersible pumps for drainage and dewatering. The FDX is the lighter series for residential and light commercial use, the FDP the professional series for construction sites, mining and industry. Both are ready to use as portable pumps and equally suited to fixed installation with a control panel.

The FDP is available in two constructions. The aluminium version is rugged and light, with a martensitic stainless steel impeller and a wear plate with NBR rubber coating. The cast iron and stainless steel version has a high chrome cast iron impeller and hydraulic parts with polyurethane rubber coating, making it highly wear-resistant in abrasive water.

Often available directly from stock from the centrally located warehouse in Wittlich, Germany.

Wear-resistant in abrasive water

The hydraulic parts of the cast iron version have a polyurethane rubber coating, and the wear plate of the aluminium version an NBR rubber coating. That keeps the pump going in water carrying sand and silt, where a standard drainage pump wears out quickly.
